Objective: The students will discuss the author of House on Mango Street from the readings. Then they will read four vignettes from the book.

1. Get your folder and Mango books.
2. Discuss what the students know about the author.
3. Read Vignettes 1-4 (Cory, Ijeoma, Jordan, Audrey)
4. Complete Vignette Table 1-4
